Bishop, Thank you for your sympathetic commentary. Everything else I have seen so far regarding the horrible event in China seems designed to milk it for its sensationalism value. It's hard to imagine that the American people could become so calloused but if the economic fall continues and people are living in the streets and raiding dumpsters to eat and for other necessities, it may well turn out to be true. Abortion in America, along with violent media, entertainment and games (including football), constant warfare and deteriorating social mores have already desensitized our people and made us meaner. I feel that there is something more sinister at work here. By our free will, humans have decided that Good is not cool and are happily skipping after Diablo towards our destruction. Jesus put us on the right path and we progressed for a long time. Lately we have regressed and now accept as usual, even normal, the most evil circumstances imaginable. Abortion. Child porn. Brain and body rotting intoxicants. And the List goes on. Pray for this innocent! And for the 60 million abortion mill victims. Humanity's crimes are so offensive that a Good and Just God's judgement must surely be imminent. Tyranical forces are in place and world events are pushing us toward an unprecedented crisis.
Indy, your assessments are correct. And the further we progress down the road toward tyranny, the worse we as a people become. We can only hope and pray that we turn around soon.
It is really disturbing to see people become so desensitized to horror and tragedy that they would just walk by a critically injured child. Unfortunately the United States is heading down a dark and dangerous path. This country and its citizens need to return to God and turn away from immorality before it is too late and we are under a heinous dictator like Mao or Hitler. We need to reverse this gradual decline and take our country back from the Communist lovers.
Teresa, you are correct, and in a few days I will begin posting a series titled "America Under Attack - The Enemies Within" that will give a way to turn things around, but it will require that we stand firm with our members of Congress to get it done. If not, if we talk but show no action, then we WILL lose.
I remember reading an article recently about how abortion is treated in China today, it's just part of life now. Forcing a woman into a hospital and murdering her unborn child is just a normal thing there. It's plain evil.
So i guess strolling on by a child that just got run over is lying in front of you is acceptable there. It's cold and scary.
