Lots of Americans going through a sort of Hell right now...lost homes and jobs, wages and savings and retirements being stolen by the actions of unscrupulous manipulators. Bad times and it may get much worse. I talked with my aunt this very day and she reminisced about the Depression years. Hungry people who stayed hungry because at times there wasn't a morsel of food in the house. Working in the fields from dawn to dusk for fifty cents a day. Tuberculosis, rotted teeth, death from infections because of poor nutrition and other stresses. People robbed of dignity and hope. Economists say we may be on the verge of a Greater Great Depression. This in the Era of High-tech and great abundance! No accident, I say. Just the bosses culling the herd and putting the Masses in their place. God help us!
Indy, I fear you are right. I also heard somebody on the FOX NEWS CHANNEL, this afternoon, say that many of those demonstrators at Wall Street are hoping to push the country into a second revolutionary war.
Christian or not, if it comes about, I for one will take up arms in defense of our Constitutional Republic. I will not hesitate to take out as many of the traitors as I can before I am taken out.
Bishop, Let us hope and pray that it doesn't come to such a dreadful crossroads. Ron Paul came out in front in Texas which shows to me that the People are waking up and are ready to get serious about our problems and embrace Constitutional leaders and solutions. When these wussies in our Government see that the People are highly enraged and just might violently rebel, I believe that they will back down and repudiate their internationalist backers. Most of our problems fiscally would be solved by the reversal of the free trade agreements and the re-starting of our manufacturing in America. They who sold that bill of goods are truly traitors to this nation. The first order of business is the removal of obama and the other Democrat cretins next year. The patriot legislators in Congress must then grow a set and loudly proclaim the truth and expose the corruption. Some days I am hopeful and other days despairing. Time will tell what awaits us. Maybe God will sling an asteroid at us to get our attention. God can't be happy with us. We are a stubborn and disobedient bunch of creatures.
Indy, I believe that Obama's supporters (namely the Unions) will try and escalate the violence in the protests to give Obama the excuse he needs to declare martial law and thus suspend all future elections to keep himself in power.
Bishop, Last week Rush Limbaugh said on his radio program that he believed that Fast and Furious was not instigated for the purpose stated by the obama administration, namely a sting operation to nab drug cartel criminals. Rush opined that it may have been engineered to give the impression that gun ownership in America was out of control and needed to be reigned in. A bold, unlawful sneak attack on the 2nd Amendment of our Bill of Rights! AG Holder appeared to be squirming at a press briefing on TV today- and he should be worried! I personally think that these narcissists have overstepped their bounds. They are legends in their own minds. Their power to do anything is limited by what the Military, Police forces and The People will allow them to do. We have never had martial law enforced in this country and I doubt that the 40% popularity O administration can pull it off.. After all this is no dictatorship as much as O and Co. would love to see it that way. I'll bet O's popularity rating in the armed forces is way below 40%- unless things have changed drastically since I served. Military people tend to despise politicians such as these and especially politicians who feign love of country and design policy that is detrimental to their own country.

Obama and Holder have been working toward eliminating the Second Amendment, and Obama, with the help of Hillary Clinton are planning on signing and ramming through The UN Small Arms Treaty, and if it happens, it will end the Second Amendment. Also, I have read several reports that with the backing of George Soros, Obama, Holder, Hillary Clinton, and several other Obama administration appointees, are also attempting to rewrite the Constitution of the United States, to turn it into what can only be termed a Communist Manifesto.
According the Laws of the United States, the President has the power to declare Martial Law in times of a national Emergency. Unfortunately, the definition of a national emergency can be whatever the President says it is, under Executive Orders. So, yes, Obama can declare Martial Law and the Military, being under his command will be required to obey his orders, unless they have the gonads to stage a coup.
